As always, 20-30 X-Culture colleagues will be attending the AIB conference.

We’re organizing several events specifically for the X-Culture community, as well as plan to attend several all-conference events – and hope to see you there.

 

Below is a schedule of the events organized by X-Culture, all-conference events that most X-Culture colleagues are planning to attend, and paper presentations and panel sessions by X-Culture colleagues.

 

Monday, July 4

• The Independence Day fireworks + dinner
  Hard Rock Cafe
  401 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132 (10 min walk from InterContinental Hotel)
  Meeting at 7:30 pm at the lobby of InterContinental
  8:00 pm reservation at the Hard Rock Cafe
  Start with dinner, watch fireworks in the area
  (Note: everyone pays for their food, expect to pay about $20+ for a full meal)

 

Tuesday, July 5

• AIB organizes two tours, and several X-Culture colleagues are planning to attend.
  A great way to meet/see other X-Culture colleagues while also learning something new about Miami
  • South Beach Tour
    9 am – 1 pm EST Cost: $40
  • Port of Miami Tour
    2 pm – 6 pm EST Cost: $40

  7 am – 8 am
  Dr. Leilani Baumanis, who is also a certified yoga instructor, will offer a free yoga session – join us to start your day right.
