I am an Indian national studying Master of Applied Computer Science (specialization: Business Economics) degree course in University of Göttingen, Germany. My career objective is to establish a multi-national E-Commerce/IT firm based in India. I intend to provide employment to large pool of talented IT professionals in India who face unemployment due to unavailability of ample opportunities. I have studied Information technology in bachelor’s degree and currently I am studying blend of IT and Business Economics in my Master’s degree.
During my Master degree course I got an opportunity to participate in X-Culture challenge where I competed with more than 3000 students from 100 universities in 40 countries on 6 continents. In this challenge I prepared a business plan for expansion of an international firm. I am selected among top 50 candidates to participate in final stage of the challenge to present my business plan. I need to travel to Savannah-USA to attend ‘Academy of International Business Conference 2015’ in order to participate in final stage of the challenge. I work part-time in Germany to support my livelihood. I do not have enough funds to travel to USA. I am writing to you to request financial support for my travel expenses to the United States. Attendance in this event will enable me to present my work at the final stage of the competition and I am hopeful that I will win the first prize for my business plan. I consider this symposium to be an extraordinary opportunity for me to meet people from international business community to share my ideas and get support for establishing my firm. Kindly award me travel stipend or some financial support so that I can avail this opportunity, I will be grateful to you.
