I’m Maria Pilar, born in Miami but lived all my life in Bogotá, Colombia. I received my high school and IBDP diploma in June of 2013 from The English School in Bogotá. Upon graduation, I began studying at Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia, where I am currently pursuing a bachelor degree in International Business Management. My scholastic excellence has earned me a scholarship, as well as the honor of serving as a monitor for the current director of the Business Management. Between the months of August and November of 2014, I participated on a global XCulture team. The first semester of 2015, I was the leader of a team representing my university in a market research project in association with the University of Richmond and the Tecnológico de Monterrey. I’ve been involved in various voluntary activities and am currently a member of the voluntary committee at my university.
