Webinars
Review webinars, webinars with client companies, and webinars prepared by the X-Culture Coaches:
Training Materials
1. What is X-Culture and how it works (3 min), watch here
2. How to succeed in X-Culture and what you get out of it if you succeed (3 min), watch here
3. X-Culture Pre-Project Student Training Module, PDF
This is the most important document that details how X-Culture works, what to expect, known challenges and best practices, tips on global virtual collaboration, online collaboration tools, and more.
Optional: A 55-min X-Culture International Business Crash Course, watch here .
This short video lecture provides a list of questions the X-Culture clients typically ask and covers the basics of International Business and Marketing that the students need to know to answer those questions. Presumably, these topics are covered in much greater depth in the business courses the X-Culture participants are taking at their universities. However, those trainees who have not taken International Business yet might find this video lecture useful.
Optional: The University Matrix Series
Analogous to The Matrix Movie Series, students discover that their life at university has just been a simulation of the Real-World. While the university has provided foundational knowledge unless students adapt their behaviors and approaches when they graduate, they will underwhelm their industry bosses slowing their career progression. Dr. Gordon Perchthold, a former Global Partner of Deloitte Consulting who is now an Associate Professor at Singapore Management University, is your guide describing your change imperative, as well as, techniques to deliver impactful executive summaries, research insights, business reports, and executive presentations that will impress your industry bosses. You get to practice these techniques when you craft your final business report for your team’s X-Culture Client.
So which will you take: the Blue Pill or the Red Pill?
